The 36-second teaser for The Elder Scrolls 6 (opens in new tab) didnt give us much to go on. A walking city called Falinesti settled down there, and there was a big war with Elsweyr at one point. A lot of exciting stuff has happened in Valenwood, however. The Bosmer hate cutting down trees too so you would expect their homeland to be heavily forested rather than rugged and bare. The centre is supposedly made up of difficult swamp land, so it doesn’t match the profile of the mountainous region the trailer shows. This land is largely uninhabited, but for some Bosmer wood elf settlements on the outskirts. And of all the provinces of Tamriel the one whose geography is right there in its name is least likely to change overnight. Black MarshĪs great as it would be to travel to the home of the Argonian lizard people and the living trees called the Hist, that does not look much like Black Marsh. This is mostly wishful thinking though, to be honest. What’s the past and how does the future look? Taking place in a setting that combines the characteristics of early and pre-medieval real world, reminding a bit of the Roman Empire, this series incorporates a lot of high fantasy elements: magic, dragons, elves, orcs, parallel worlds, and so much more. Will it be Hammerfell? Daggerfall again? Akavir? There are many fan theories going around but nothing is fact yet. This is the newest chapter in the acclaimed action role-playing open world fantasy series, famous for its large and elaborately detailed open worlds that allow the player to explore the fictional Elder Scrolls continent of Tamriel. In what region will The Elder Scrolls VI be? While we weren’t told exactly when this wonderful new open-world fantasy adventure RPG might be coming out to our machines, Bethesda delighted us with a beautiful teaser trailer so we can get some idea of what awaits us when it finally does come out. This revelation followed an announcement of several other potential masterpieces, such as space epic Starfield, Fallout 76, RAGE 2, DOOM Eternal and others. it is rumored that the upcoming sixth major title of this IP will be released for next-gen consoles, so it might be around 2020. Without going into much detail, Todd Howard from Bethesda Game Studios announced at the end of their E3 press conference that The Elder Scrolls VI is in pre-production. This year’s E3 brought many exciting announcements for video games fans of all profiles and The Elder Scrolls series enthusiasts will have something to look forward to as well. ![]()
